Med-Center is a multi-user cross platform medical practice billing and medical records system for small to medium size offices and clinics.  It tracks patients and their visits, handles scheduling and post visit follow up, incorporates electronic claim submittal to clearinghouses or direct to payers (HIPAA compliant 4010A1 pro format, and stores a multitude of patient care information (such as allergies, medical history, medications, immunizations, vital signs, lab test results, electronic records, and referrals).  It also has a simplified integrated double entry accounting module for tracking general ledger postings to user defined Chart of Accounts.  Med-Center is available in single user or multiple user (client/server) versions for Macintosh and/or Windows to access clinic information with identical screens and functionality.

Med-Center Module (Standard)
Use "Viewer" to quickly access patient records and other database entries. 

Patient Records include patient demographics, preferred doctor, insurance and employment information, contacts made, parent and emergency phone numbers, appointments, and references to related encounters.

Schedule appointments by first available time slot or specific date and time with preferred or available staff member.  View multiple schedules at once and "Drag & Drop" schedule items between schedules.  Use automatic reminders to alert you of pending appointments.  Quick link to patient account.  Double and triple book appointments within same time slot.  User defined color appointment types.

Patient encounters include reason for visit, diagnostic codes, exam information,  medications, referrals, transaction ledger (services rendered/related charges/payments), CMS-1500 specific fields, electronic claims submittals, and account summary.

Stay aware of patient wait time with "Waiting Patients" feature for all departments in a multi-facility clinic.  Track post-visit processing of patient information (i.e., "tickler" for billing and charting progress by staff members).

Customizable Fee Ticket (SuperReport Pro Template)

Store electronic medical records in their native format with the patient encounter. Records are locked after approval by the clinician.

Record physician notes and insert AutoText key words, phrases, and templates automatically.

Prescribe medication from plan formularies and record with patient encounter.

HIPAA Compliant 4010A1 Pro format for claims with error checking for submittal to clearinghouses or direct to payers.
