Chart notes can be entered using the available text field or by attaching a document created by other means (such as a voice recording or formatted word processing document).  A feature called AutoText allows common words and phrases to be suggested for insertion into the note when text matches entries in the AutoText libraries.  When complete, the physician can electronically sign the note.
