Billing transactions include charges, adjustments, payments and checks written when there is a credit balance.  Charges are based on office services relating to standard CPT codes.  Progress of payments applied is summarized in the claim and payment area.  Charges may be credited to the general clinic account or to a specific account such as the rendering provider or department.
