Simple administration means lower costs and less training.  As a comprehensive solution, the Med-Center architecture provides one of the best trouble free systems on the market.

Integrated Server ... Integrated Modules - Med-Center comes with all the components neatly integrated into one package.  You don't need to install any other vendor software.  All of the functionality has been thoroughly tested, as a system, to allow trouble free operation.  When Med-Center's 3rd Party components evolve, new Med-Center versions are released with the new fully tested functionality.

Download, Install, Use - When new versions are released, they can be downloaded directly from the Database Constructs' download page.  Installation is as simple as unzipping the compressed file(s) to the office Server and Client workstations.  Since the Med-Center application is separate from the data, simply open your existing data set to begin use once again.

Run as Service - Med-Center Server can be run as an unattended service on Windows or Macintosh operating systems.  If a power interuption occurs and the server harware resets, the service (Med-Center) can self-start and resume operation.

Fault Tolerant Crash & Recovery - As an attribute of the integrated database engine (4D Server), if the system crashes due to power disruptions or other malfunctions, the system employs fault tolerant data preservation and recovery technology to return the system to an operational state.

Automated Backup - If all else fails, an automatically scheduled backup system can also protect your information.  An optional data recovery technique using the system log file could also be used to recover the most recent transactions.
